Traffic Management Systems (TMS) connect vehicle-mounted computers, high-speed management center computers, and GPS satellites to enable two-way communication between drivers and the dispatch center, thereby improving the operational efficiency of commercial vehicles, buses, and taxis. This system boasts extremely strong communication capabilities, allowing for control of vehicles nationwide and even on a larger scale. Twenty buses operating on the streets of Paris, France, and approximately 2,500 taxis in London, England, are already under satellite control. Singapore's urban traffic management system, in addition to traditional functions such as signal control, traffic monitoring, traffic guidance, and traffic information, also includes a modern electronic toll collection system.

Traffic Management Systems (TMS) are a core component of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Their main function is to integrate advanced information technology, sensing technology, communication technology, and control technology to achieve real-time monitoring, dynamic regulation, and efficient service of traffic flow, thereby improving the overall safety, efficiency, and reliability of traffic operations.
